My name is Mrs .Menerva Guiwa and I am a Special Education-Science teacher and currently the Science Department Chair at Arleta High School, Home of the Mustangs. I am assigned to SMART small learning community. I teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physiology. This year will be very exciting.  The students will to dive in to a new learning experience in Science. They will have broader and deeper understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards. Moreover, they will develop and create models, ask questions, do hands on investigations, engage in scientific conversation and many more.
